Trajectory correction make ordinary ammunitioncontrollable,greatly improve the hit and damage,projectile attitude measurement as one of the key aspects has a direct impact on the accuracy of trajectory correction,accurate measurement of projectile attitude under high overload environment has long been an important issue.Earth magnetic field as a regular and steady field has been more and more widely used in integrated navigation.GPS can provide the carrier’s position, time, speed and other information on a global scale.In this paper, under the background of a certain type of mortar projectile, given the ballistic characteristics of mortar projectile, a scheme combined with GPS and the magnetic sensor is proposed. The yaw angle can be calculated according to GPS speed information, then the roll and pitch angle can be work out combined with three axis magnetic sensorinformation through the attitude matrix,finally realize the attitude control of the projectile.This paper firstly introduces the attitude calculating method of satellite guided mortar projectile based on earthmagneticfield, then design the hardware and software of the geomagnetic data acquisition system and the interface circuit between GPS module and STM32 MCU, finally usehigh accuracy inertial navigation system to do preliminary static calibration experiment. The result indicates the system performance well and the method is feasible.
