The strong electromagnetic field is produced by the large current and electromagnetic railgun when launching, the track of the electromagnetic railgun produces a deformation under the action of the electromagnetic force, insulator fixed rail and peripheral clamping device is squeezed by the rail, in order to measure the deformation of the track of the strong electric field environment, so a strain detection system is based on fiber grating design, the optical fiber is not interfered by the electromagnetic field, the transient strain variation of the electromagnetic railgun during the emission can be measured exactly.Fiber Bragg Grating electromagnetic railgun strain measurement system is composed by the ASE broadband light source, Optical isolator,1×8 coupler, Fiber Bragg Grating, Unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer, Fiber coupled optoelectronic receiver tube (PIN tube), the photoelectric conversion circuit, a broadband multi-stage amplifier circuit, the data acquisition device, the data processing software and so on, system components in various key components were Select to describe and analyze. the design process of the Fiber Bragg Grating strain broadband wavelength conversion method and circuit is based on the Unbalanced Mach-Zehnder interferometer of the Fiber Bragg Grating. Strain signal is collected and converted to digital by the PXI multi-channel synchronous acquisition device, the strain signal acquisition and processing is programmed in Lab VIEW software platform.
