The applications of fiber optic technologies in the field of wire guidanceweapons are an important aspect of their military applications. Fiber optic guidancetechnologies have a series of advantages, such as large information transmissioncapacity, good interference immunity, high guidance accuracy and good invisibility. So it has a bright future. In the process of developing a high-speed and long distance FOG-M, the key ishow to ensure that there's no fracture when the missile flys. If this key technology tobe conquered, inner strain of optic fiber must be detected.Fiber Bragg grating(FBG) sensor, which uses the property that the Braggwavelength is sensitive to temperature and strain, is a new kind of fiber optic sensor. In this paper, based on the theory of the FBG strain-sensing characteristic, wepropose switching a FBG in the guidance fiber. By testing the change of reflectedwave-length when the missile flies, we can get the amplitude of the strain of the fiber. We deviced the experiment system of guidance fiber with FBG under a staticforce. By applying direct tensile strain, we obtain the reflected wave-length underdifferent strain. The sensitive coefficient of static experiment is caculated. The result has arelative error of 4.17ï¼…against the theoretical value. In the end, based on the double FBG matching technology, we also propose amodel of testing dynamic strain. And the relationship of the ratio of two optical powerand dynamic strain is derived. This model is also simulated with Matlab.
