With the intensification of global energy and environmental problems. The development of new energy automobiles is imminent. As a transition of conventional vehicles and electrical vehicles.The HEV has become the key point of world development. Through the control strategies to improve the performance of the vehicle in order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions is the current focus in the study of automotive technology. Therefore, the torque distribution,efficiency optimization and coordinated control of research in the multiple sources of power in the process of driving of great importance to the hybrid electric vehicle’s power and emissions.In this paper, the architecture of the powertrain and the parameters of the components known in the hybrid electric vehicle, under the background of vehicle energy management strategy and hybrid mode switching process as the research focus, In order to reduce fuel consumption and emissions as the goal, build engines, motors, batteries, transmissions, clutches, tires and other simulation model in the Cruise simulation platform, establish the vehicle energy management strategy in the Matlab/Simulink. at the same time, to optimize the transition process of electric drive mode to engine drive mode to improve the power performance, stability and driving comfort. In the co-simulation platform, better completed the research project at the beginning of the simulation conditions. Late complete of the HEV’s calibration module based on the CCP protocol, finally has carried on the test.
