| At present, with the development of industry and agriculture, many areas of drinking water sources affected directly or indirectly by traces of organic and ammonia nitrogen pollution. But the commonly used conventional water treatment process is difficult to remove them effectively, the security of residents’ drinking water can not be really guaranteed.Biological filtration process of micro polluted water by microbial treatment that attract more attention.The removal of ammonia nitrogen mainly rely on the microbiological nitrification in the surface water.This paper mainly investigated the biological methods of ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency which under the influence of various factors,such as different temperature, different fillers, different concentration of organic matter and dissolved oxygen concentration.The experiment mainly to small scale device as the research carrier, the research results show that when the temperature between 10-15℃, for the biological activated carbon filter and the composite material of biological filtration, the ammonia nitrogen removal efficiency is 95% or more,when the temperature range from 4 to 10℃,for biological activated carbon filter,the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen is more than 40%,removal efficiency is more evident than the composite filter biological filter. When the temperature is 3 degrees centigrade, In terms of biological activated carbon filter and composite material of biological filtration,the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen are not high, removal efficiency of the biological activated carbon filter on the ammonia nitrogen is about 25%, removal efficiency of the composite material of biological filtration on the ammonia nitrogen is about 15%.Strengthen the removal effect of biological filtration on ammonia nitrogen during the period of low temperature is the key point of the study, this research based on the above two types of biological aerated filter,studied the removal efficiency of ammonia nitrogen,these factors include the raw water organic, dissolved oxygen concentration. The results of the study show that, dissolved oxygen concentration have obvious influence on biological filter removal of ammonia nitrogen,high dissolved oxygen conductive to the improvement of biomass and biological activity,conducive to the removal of ammonia nitrogen by biological filtration during the period of low temperature. |
