Surface water,which the temperature below 10 ℃and the turbidity lower than 30 NTU is called the low temperature and low turbidity water. Low temperature and low turbidity water exists in China’s northern region. The conditions at low temperature caused the water quality characteristics different from other seasons.This period of the water indicators will be different from usual,the water turbidity, alkalinity and the water of oxygen consumption and p H value will be very low.Based on the water quality characteristics and physical properties of this stage, when we treating such water, the commonly used water treatment methods may not meet our expectations to achieve treatment effect.On the contrary,the commonly used processing methods, is likely to lead to a drop of water quality.As a part of the advanced treatment to the water plant, biological filter process has a very good removal effect on the natural organic matte,also,it is a kind of advanced treatment of the low temperature and low water treatment.This study was Based on biological filter process of low temperature and low water,The main test content is divided into pilot scale test and dynamic experiment test two part.The pilot scale test is focus on dealing Songhua river water and the research based on Ozone activated carbon combined technology on low temperature water pollutants removal.Especially focusing on the three nitrogen under the condition of low temperature, the transformation effect of activated carbon technology on three nitrogen, UV254 et al.The dynamic experiment is meanly to study the process in addition to the water pollutant, bio-filter process mechanism and the effect of the biological filter effluent pollutant concentration change under the low temperature.It is focus on the different temperature and the filter material for pollutant removal performance.Small pilot test focused primarily on different temperatures, explore different media for pollutant removal laws. Pilot test is mainly focused on ozone- activated carbon on the removal of contaminants from water to low temperature, with a particular focus cold conditions, internal biofilter ammonia, and transformation of inquiry between nitrite and nitrate, UV254 removal of pollutants and other research.In a small pilot test start-up phase, the composite filter media column, biological activated carbon filter filter column for ammonia removal efficiency to achieve better results. Influent ammonia maintained at 2.75 mg / L or so, two parallel composite filter ammonia effluent filtration column maintained at 0.5mg / L or less. This is because after ozonation, improving biodegradability of the raw water, then filtered through activated carbon or composite media column, you can reduce water UV254. Meanwhile, UV254 filter column effluent BAC slightly better than the composite filter media column. This is because the activated carbon adsorption itself have a positive impact on the removal of UV254, and activated carbon adsorption to remove the water color has a positive effect, which will affect the determination of water UV254 indicators, so this is the case with Biochemical effect relationship is not biological.
