Due to the rapid development of automobile industry and people in the process of drivingsafety requirements become higher, and electronic device used in automobile is more and more extensive, not only make driving becomes more comfortable, to enhance the security ofthe car is also reflected in all aspects. For the vehicle active safety device of the rearview mirror, more and more of its function in recent years, in terms of active safety function has been paid more and more attention.This article based on the mirror automatic adjustment device of the SOPC system after the car, aiming at solving the existing problems of mirror adjustment. The main content of this paper is in the implementation of SOPC system based on FPGA. It consists of three parts, using eye signal acquisition module of Verilog language, the rearview mirror angle conversion module, stepper motor and driver module, achieve the preset function of the whole system, using Nios II core as the processor, the design of angle C conversion process, and the stepper motor control, complete the setup of the rearview mirror angle adjustment system.The main collection of eye position signal and its change, calculation of rearview mirrorcorre sponding rotation angle, and drive the stepper motor to achieve the preset rearview mirror plane rotation. That is the mirror in the car adjusted automatically according to the change of driver’s eye position after the moment to meet the observation angle, the rear of the vehicle after the driver through the mirror case complete function.
