Research And Application Of New Chinese Style In Modern Interior Design

Economic progress guides people to change their living habits; the diversification of aesthetic demand makes interior designs richer and varied; people’s pursuit for personality indirectly promotes the enrichment and development of design style. Chinese people no longer just copy western art style or blindly repeat Chinese traditional cultural elements, but focus on the researches from cultural spirit level and refine the Chinese nation traditional culture. In modern times, in order to build modern interior designs with Chinese classic lasting appeal, the classical excellent culture should be displayed through modern design methods and the excellent cultural idea of Chinese traditional values should be described through modern language, thus, the deduced interior design work in this way can eventually become the art that perfectly interprets the modern times and integrates with classical elements. How to inherit the essence of the traditional Chinese interior designs and benefit the innovation of the new Chinese style design methods is an important project for the development of modern interior design in China in the future.In modern interior design, the design works that can embody the traditional Chinese culture is jointly named as the new Chinese style interior design style and it is also the research contents of the thesis. Firstly, its definition is simply understood and grasped; then, the art concept that the design style expresses is further understood by displaying some typical works of new Chinese style interior designs. Many research methods are applied in the thesis;literature investigation, comparative analysis, and other research methods(case study method and deductive method) are used for the analysis of the works so as to achieve a comprehensive and deep understanding of new Chinese style interior design style; next, the characteristics,manifestation modes, design concept and the future development trend of the new Chinese style interior design style are analyzed and explored; based on the new Chinese style interior design style, innovative reform and development prospects are conducted. Through the analysis of actual design cases, the combination of theory with practice is achieved, making the research results intuitive and understandable; besides, some theoretical guidance is provided to the modern interior designers and the studies about the new Chinese style designs are enriched.
