Rapid growth of car ownership leads to the shortage of world’s oil resources and the growing pressure of ecological environment, which promotes the development of energy saving and new energy vehicle technology. The examination operation analysis of new energy bus of Kunming will provide decision-making basis for the demonstrating and running of energy saving and new energy bus in Kunming plateau area, it will also provide accurate and reliable data support for apply and improvement of new energy automobile products, which produces great significance in energy saving and new energy vehicles industrialization in Kunming.This paper is mainly about run data acquisition of the hybrid electric bus and the pure diesel bus with the same path, the long-term operating data of different brand hybrid no air conditioning bus has been analyzed in two way ANOVA analyses, comparing the economic contrast analysis of different brand hybrid no air conditioning bus, hybrid air conditioning bus and pure electric bus, the vehicle’s fuel consumption, fault, speed, engine speed and vehicle load rate are analyzed. The results show that Kunming running hybrid bus oil-saving effect is relatively obvious; the average fuel consumption for hundreds of kilometers is29.19L, reduced by12.54%than pure diesel bus. For hybrid bus brand with no air conditioning, brand D and J hybrid bus have best oil-saving effect, with the same line running brand G and H hybrid bus show no significant oil-saving effect, which indicate that hybrid bus brand with no air conditioning brand technology level exists significant differences; For the demonstration run of hybrid air conditioning bus, part of the brand has a good fuel, the main effect of energy conservation and emissions reduction depends on the comprehensive technical level hybrid air conditioning bus through the comprehensive analysis of the operation factors such as road congestion and road unobstructed; There is a big fluctuation between different months of fuel economy of hybrid electric bus, which is also influenced obviously by the plateau environment, as road conditions and driver’s operation habit. For hybrid air conditioning bus passenger car brands, brand D, the run road is blocked with average highest gas mileage, brand J, the run road is unobstructed with average minimum gas mileage. The fuel economy of Eaton is the best in the seven of the running configuration system of hybrid electric bus demonstration in Kunming, mixed type hybrid electric bus fuel economy is slightly higher than that of parallel hybrid electric bus. For two kinds of different brand of pure electric bus, brand2pure electric bus fuel economy is better than1, monthly average hundred kilometers power consumption with the increase of the running time are falling. The demonstration operation fault of Kunming hybrid electric bus are mainly for system failure, body and chassis fault lower, performance of the engine fault minimum. The average fault times of brand I is the least, while brand H most in the brands researched. The crowded road and huge flow of people of Kunming lead to the city bus stop frequently, average speed is low, idle speed ratio is high, vehicle optimal economic load rate area ratio is small, when the road is blocked main around20km/h speed, when the road is unobstructed main around30km/h speed.
