With the rapid development of automobile industry, the motor vehicle emission pollution has become an important source of pollution affecting the environment quality, nations continue to increase the efforts and make out a more stringent emission standards to control pollution. In order to control the vehicle emission pollution in a city effectively, we must master the emissions of automobile to formulate the emission reduction. The basic parameter of motor vehicle emission condition is single automobile, the important basis of motor vehicle emissions and their impact on the environment. To find the driving cycles mode of automobile is the most basic work to test the vehicle emission factor. At present, China is using the ECE15driving cycles to test light vehicle emission procedures, this driving cycles is a new type using the test condition certification and product consistency check. Because of the road characteristics of each city, different traffic flow distribution, geographical features, natural environment and so on, these will affect the car’s speed, speed is an important factor affecting energy consumption and emissions, according to the real condition, using ECE15can not get the city in the actual emission factor and the amount of cars. Therefore, study on the city bus driving cycle is very necessary.Significance of the development vehicle driving cycles:to provide experimental basis for the study of certain types of vehicles emission levels in a particular region or energy consumption; vehicle design power matching reference; meet Motor Vehicle Inspection/Maintenance (Inspection/Maintenance) system provide the basic data required; matching vehicle parameters and control strategy development. The results showed that:the standard driving cycles at home and abroad has its reference value, it is an application value to develop the driving cycle which is suitable for Kunming local characteristics and it is helpful to the local new energy vehicles technological advances and operating economy. The research is based on the study of Kunming traffic conditions and geographical conditions, combined with the actual situation of the construction of the Kunming road traffic, the use of short-stroke method to resolve, finally come to Kunming hybrid buses in actual driving conditions characteristics. The development method of driving conditions, the choice of the test road, set the acquisition parameters, the set of the sampling time, the amount of data set and so on has an important influence to the data synthesis analysis and sorting of driving cycle. Through MATLAB programming, use the statistical theory to calculate the short stroke and overall data, remove the correlation coefficient of the first six short stroke synthetic hybrid buses in Kunming driving conditions, with good adaptability.Using principal component analysis and cluster analysis to integrate representative driving cycles of hybrid buses in the smooth flow of road conditions and the crowded road conditions. The cycles compared with experimental cycles, eigenvalue error is within10%.
