Surface deformation of metro tunnel is accompanied by subway tunnel construction andphenomenon of widespread disaster, it has the characteristics of failure forms, different degree ofdamage. Accurately predict the subway tunnel surface deformation can effectively avoid theoccurrence of disasters. Now whether the traditional theoretical calculation method, or themeasured data analysis method are predict complex, slow speed and low accuracy. Therefore,how to predict the surface deformation of metro tunnel quickly and accurately is of greatsignificance to avoid disaster.This paper firstly introduces the status for the subway tunnel surface deformation predictionresearch at home and abroad, and introduces the application of gene expression programming;Then, the paper analyzes the surface deformation characteristics of subway tunnel and subwaytunnel surface deformation monitoring technology; Secondly, according to the characteristics ofthe metro tunnel surface deformation monitoring data containing noises, to design the Fibonacciweighted preprocessor to smooth the ground surface deformation monitoring data fordeformation pretreatment; Then, according to gene expression programming process, take use ofthe C#programming language to develop the subway tunnel’s surface deformation predictionprogram based on gene expression programming in the Visual Studio programming environment;Finally, taking use of a subway tunnel surface deformation monitoring data as the training data,input the training data to prediction program, set a certain parameters operation program to obtainprediction function model, and analyzes the function model and GM (1,1) grey forecastingmodel in the subway tunnel surface deformation prediction results.From the results, the use of gene expression programming function model for subway tunnelsurface deformation prediction results of error is0.0083, and the use of GM (1,1) greyforecasting model for subway tunnel in surface deformation prediction error is0.0216, theexperimental results indicate that gene expression programming in the subway tunnel surfacedeformation forecast precision is improved obviously, this paper to provides a new method topredict deformation of metro tunnel surface.
