In recent years, domestic packaging industry has been rapid development. As a new packaging material, Aluminum foil has been widely used in the community because of its superior performance. Aluminum foil separator is the final working procedure of foil production. It is a process that a big volume of aluminum foil is cut into small roll of aluminum foil in certain specifications. It will have a direct impact on production efficiency and product quality. Compared to imported machines, domestic machines have a big gap, mainly reflected in:low-speed、low degree of automation、low stability.Combining with the weaknesses and defects of domestic machine, the domestic engine was modified and optimized in this study aiming to develop a high level of aluminum foil separator.This study provides a solution for the design and optimization of aluminum foil separator system、digital modeling、the research of aluminum foil tension control system、finite element analysis and structure optimization of important parts. Specific work as follows:(1)Combining with the limitations and defects of domestic separator, this study introduce the transformation to the mechanism which has important function. This new type of separator after the transformation will be modeling in the PRO/E environment.(2)The Motion simulation of material removing mechanism, for example, introduces a practical motion simulation thought which can find the unreasonable、shorten the design cycle and improve design accuracy.(3)In this study, the steady process、acceleration and deceleration process of aluminum foil were studied in mathematical modeling of constant tension, and some implementation schemes are proposed, Including real-time calculation of volume diameter and the measurement of linear velocity, which lays a theoretical foundation for the constant tension control system of aluminum foil.(4)In this study, the static and dynamic properties of the main roller were analyzed in the ABAQUS environment. Through the static analysis, it can verify the static stiffness of the main roller. Based on the analysis of the dynamical properties of the main roller, the modal analysis of the main roller is done; the first six order vibration mode and natural frequency are studied. Which verify the design speed and analysis of vibration characteristics; it has reference value for the optimization design of the late. Moreover, The important structure parameters of the main roller is optimized. Through the analysis, finally, the optimal structural parameter value has been gotten.
