The hood with beautiful shape, delicate making, efficient smoke evacuation system and handy washing, not only creates a comfortable cooking environment, but also improves the decorative appreciation of the kitchen. Nowadays, the rapid development of science and technology makes the trend of hood’s homogenization more and more evident in technology. It can not satisfy the needs of the customer only depending on the creation of the practical function. Under these circumstance, if the manufacturers are desire to promote the products’ attraction and customers’ purchasing, they need to design and create the goods that meet the consumers’ appreciation and expecting. Personalized and fashionable feature gradually become the decisive factor whether customers to buy it. Product form is the expression of emotional factors in the most direct way. The innovation of product modeling has already become one of the important competitive pattern for many companies.This thesis aims at the research of the creation of hood’s modeling. Firstly, we do a market survey about the hood’s conception, function, structure and so on. Combining with the books and other materials, knows about the present situation on hood industry, and looks into the future about the trend of hood’s development. Secondly, we confirm the theme of this research, put Chinese elements into the hoods’ model creation, and customize the different hoods’ mould according to territorial climate. We design a series of hood modeling using the subject of dream.Chinese elements used in design of the hood to break the traditional top-priming hood, curve into the traditional Chinese style, so that it shows us more Chinese characteristics. Combining with regional climate and hood design, and integrating to the regional characteristics of the function hood design, so that the range hood is more suitable for regional style.Dream Series hood design with the inspirational theme, giving shape to the soul hood. The dream will be realized with the mainline of determination-flying-outlook.
