Research On "Time" Language In Landscape Design

As a kind of temporal and spatial integration of art expression, Landscape design carries lateral and longitudinal trends. As the rapid development of urbanization, landscape has exposed several shortcomings, that space is the most important factors, which attracted people’s attention and favor, but ignore the concept of time. However, the environment which expressed by space, can’t get rid of the infiltration of time. time in landscape design, which sometimes back, sometimes wandering, sometimes lost. Therefore, time is really the key to landscape design.Based on this phenomenon, this study based on the time expression of landscape design, trying to get the essence of time, experience, and other point of view, analysis the spiritual connotation and realistic sense time conveys in landscape design, which for the theoretical construction and artistic creation. The paper is divided into two parts:the first part is about the time theory in the landscape design, the second part is time language practice in landscape design. In the theory part, firstly is the concept of time and the relationship of landscape and time, use time language as an expression of landscape environment, blend and link time and landscape, and tries to express the appearances, experience, and story carried by time language in theory, and put them into practice as the design elements, try to create the landscape time fragment of past, now, and future. In the practice part, based on theoretical analysis, express the theme of time mark, time channel, and time memory in landscape design, use image, images and models to complete the operation of time language of landscape design, reflect the mutual aid between time and landscape.In the end, based on widely known theory, summary the significance and practice of time language in landscape design, and expect to bring some valuable references for modem landscape design.
