Research On Safety And Reliability Of PEPS System

With the rapid development of electronic and communication technology, intelligent electronic module gets more and more application in the car. Passive Entry Passive Start which has both advantages of high security and easy to use becomes the main trend of the car anti-theft system, it’s development will greatly improve the safety of the car and the experience of the user.The paper designs the hardware of the PEPS mainly from the two aspects of key and the car. Analyze the working principle of the key and the car; Select and design the LF and UHF communication chip, antenna and circuit for the both aspects; Detailed design the high-frequency PCB loop antenna for the key; The car adapts the double ECU backup mode and then designs the corresponding circuit; For software, the owner identity authentication process and the start-up process are designed; Also, the communication protocol between the car and the key is analyzed and formulated, AES- 128 algorithm is used to encrypt and decrypt the data; To detect the accurate position of the key, the RSSI algorithm and weighted centroid localization algorithm are combined.
