It is making more and more elderly people can not get good care because of ageing of population and "empty nest family", so it has become a social problem that find a way to take care of the elderly people who have weak physical condition and stay in bed for a long time or could not take care of themselves due to illness.It is this issue that leds to research boom in the field of nursing bed, but it still can not meet the diverse needs of daily care, most of them are electric or manual care beds with complicated steps and single function, the user can not use information access and analysis and can not automatically complete the desired position, lack of intelligence. For the current situation, multifunctional nursing beds intelligent monitoring and control system is designed to solve the existing problems.The system based on the traditional electric nursing bed includes the closed-loop control system、real-time graphical interface、remote users data access and analysis and the bed intelligent control, so it both achieves precise control of the bed and real-time interaction of the nursing bed and remote database. It can meet diverse and convenient position requires and data collection requirements in hospital and home day care. On the hardware side, the system uses the S3C2440 chip which uses ARM9 core and produced by SAMSUNG to analyse data and control the nursing bed and uses ZTE’s MF210 3G module to solve data remote transceiver problems and complete interaction with the database server and uses single-axis tilt sensor SCA60C to feedback position of nursing bed for accurate control of the bed body. Linear motor control module composed of relays and MOS tube is used to control the speed of the bed. On the software side, we complete hardware drivers under the REDHAT9.0 development environment by C language and achieve a control terminal interface by Qt. It achieve bed position real-time rendering and display, user registration and login, bed intelligent selection mode, analysis of user habits, a button to adjust the bed position and so on.Finally, design the experimental program based on the system needs analysis, and build a detection system according to the experimental program, than we use the system to test the bed control function, the bed network and database interaction and the overall system. It can provide convenient for the hospital and the family in caring for bedridden elderly and the sick.
