With the advancement of urbanization, the density and height of the building in urban are increasing. According to related statistics, at present the world building energy consumption accounts for about 40% of the total social energy consumption. Under the trend of the development of sustainable development, energy saving and comfort have been the focus of architectural design. Natural ventilation, a traditional passive energy saving technology, not only functions as energy conservation and environmental protection, but also can improve the quality of indoor air. The effect of residential natural ventilation is influenced by many factors like the ratio of window wall, the height of window sill, the orientation and so on. Therefore, the reasonable design of building in the construction design phase has become an important means of improving the effect of natural ventilation and promoting the indoor comfort and an building energy efficiency.Due to the differences of climate environment, this article choose good natural ventilation south taizhou were studied. Considering the differences of residential family is not particularly big, choose one of the most common model to study the two rooms one hall house, thus draws the building openings and building toward the best architectural design parameters. Considering the little difference of residential family, this paper aims at studying two rooms and one hall of the house, the most common model of the house. This article firstly analyzes the indoor environmental change, taking the wind speed, temperature, air age and PMV-PPD as evaluation index and finds the best design parameters. Through the analysis of the article it helps architects to improve the understanding of natural ventilation effect and to provide the reference when conducting the reasonable organization methods of indoor natural ventilation in the architectural design. And with DEST software modeling, the energy consumption simulation compared to conventional design. This paper studies the impact of building openings and orientations on the residential indoor natural ventilation, taking advantage of the Fluent software. Also, it analyzes the effect of the ratio of window wall, orientation and the height of the window on the indoor environment. At the same time it provides a reference for architects when they are designing, which is of great significance for the sustainable development of urban space. The results showed that, when the window wall ratio 0.3, facing with conventional wind to 30 °, window sill height is 900 mm, architecture design is the most reasonable. So can greatly improve the effect of construction of natural ventilation, to improve the indoor environment, indoor average wind speed 0.41 m/s, reduce indoor temperature 2.23 ℃, the indoor air age 79 s, there is a better indoor thermal comfort. And with DEST software modeling, the energy consumption simulation compared to conventional design, the results found that after the use of natural ventilation, air conditioning energy saving rate of 14% throughout the year. So the natural ventilation can promote a good comfortable environment, and can meet the requirements of energy saving. Thus it draws the best architectural design parameters of the building openings and building orientations.
