The steam turbine is an important part of a power generation equipment, which also is the core equipment of power plants and heavy industry enterprises. Vibration is an important factor that affecting the safe operation of the steam turbine, because vibration is the main cause of steam turbine failure. which also is a "thermometer", the working state of steam turbine vibration directly reflects the running state of steam turbine. Almost every factory care for the vibration of steam turbine, power plant enterprise attaches great importance to detection vibration of signal,which can avoid potential failure and dangerous. So testing and analysis on steam turbine vibration signal is of great significance.Based on the researched object and the characteristics of vibration signal, This paper firstly introduces the basic concept of steam turbine vibration with the relevant standards. Completed the overall design of the detection system based on the research object.Secondly, design the hardware circuit module of this system, including sensor selection, circuit design, FPGA module, DSP module and communication between the module and so on. And then developed the system software, including Verilog state machine conversion, FIFO module, the Fourier transform based on the C language, etc. Finally comprehensive system each function module, making PCB and complete the circuit and system debugging.Confirming the various modules’function on the laboratory bench test system, The system can work stably on the fundamental of the acquisition, analysis, data accuracy is guaranteed, the system reached the expected goal eventually.
