On the TN8000 system basis, the vibration test signals of the 600MW Steam Turbine Group (Tuoketuo Power Plant's) were analyzed with the methods of vibration monitoring and signal analyzing. Through the time-domain and spectrum analyzing, combining the method of statistic analysis, the fault of unbalance rotator mass and steam-excited vibration were found. The fault features, mechanism and sensitive parameter were confirmed. Therefore the repairing plan was put forward for the Steam Turbine Group. The test result showed that: In the vibration signal of unbalance rotator mass, the main frequency is the same as of rotator's, and amplitude reached it's high value at the limit speed of rotator, and the vibration shows no sensitivity to the variant of loads, the sensitive parameter is the rotator speed; The fault of steam-excited vibration occurs mainly at the steam entrance of High-pressure rotator. In the vibration features, the signal amplitude is high for corresponding the one step limit speed frequency, and the signal is sensitive to the load (steam parameter). In the operation of the Steam Turbine Group, the problem can be found in time and the repairing scheme was set properly. Furthermore the safety running of the machine was guaranteed with maximum, the repairing cost was reduced and the economic loss of non-plan machine halt was minimized.
