High-altitude simulation test is a kind of test on the Solid rocket motors on the ground, this paper is about the test cell pressures, a lot of theoretical analysis,a lot of Numerical simulation, a lot of experiments have been made and a plenty of achievements have been made.Firstly, the compose of the solid rocket motor,the advantages over the liquid rocket motor, the experiments needed to the solid rocket motors, which kind of the solid rocket motor which need high-altitude simulation test are viewed. Then some reasons why the researches are needed are listed, the reasons why the ground tests are needed, the reasons why the high-altitude simulation tests are needed, the reasons why the researches on the test cell pressures are needed are included. Then the high-altitude simulation tests facilities and the researches on the test cell pressures at home and abroad are introduced.Secondly,the flow fields in the high-altitude simulation tests facilities are researched, the way of theoretical analysis is used. The flow fields include the ones in the nozzles, the ones in the diffusers, the ones in inlet of the diffusers. Some calculations are needed about the parameters about the diffusers.Thirdly, some numerical simulations are made. Before this, some preparations are made. Those numerical simulations are about three motors. The influence factors on the test cell pressures are researched, the pressure of the gas from the combustor, the temperature of the gas from the combustor, and so on are included. Through those numerical simulations, some conclusions have been got that the temperature of the gas from the combustor and the pressure of the gas from the combustor have an effect on the test cell pressure. Other factors have little effect on it.Fourthly,,some experiments are made. Through those experiments, the conclusions are made. It is possible to simulation the test cell pressures for all kinds of high-altitude simulation tests facilities. The conclusions also prove that the researches on the influence factors on the test cell pressures are correct.
