Along with the electric generator turning great, failures of adjust system infect the security of the electric unit more deeply. Adjust system failures will lead security accidents of electric unit. So, it is necessary to manufacture steam turbine adjust system failure diagnoses system. This thesis aims at failure diagnoses system, studying the failures tree analyis, multi-failures mechanism analyis, failure monitor, the expert system design and the software & hardware design of failure diagnoses system, the main contents are below: 1. Worked out the design system of building failure diagnose system The deflnitude of failures needed to diagnose is the first step of building failure diagnose system. Analysing the failure mechanism and studing the method of failure monitoring for the most important failure is the second step, after expert system design, failure diagnose system kernel design and hardware & software design for come into being equipment, it can launch into running in the power station. 2. Developed the steam turbine adjust system failure diagnose device Based on Intranet technology, the steam turbine adjust system failure diagnose device launches into running in scene and gain the marked economy benefit. The thesis gives out the failure instances captured in the running, analysis the cause of failures and presents the advice of disposing failures. The thesis also presents the analyses of the great damage accident of steam turbine. By using two measures to count and check the rotaing speed, it affirmed that the accident cause is overspeed. 3. Analysed the causes of the adjust system frequent failures and the method of diagnose The thesis presents the analysis and check measures of the slide valve failures, the thrust tile fray failures of main oil pump and blocking failures of electricity fluid switcher in the steam turbine adjust system. Also, it studies monitoring points and sampling frequency needed in the failure diagnose. 4. Studied the method of knowledge obtain in failure diagnose expert system and prophase data processing The thesis studies the knowledge obtaining method in expert system, discusses the method which gains knowledge from the failure tree. It presents the prophase database processing method in expert system. In order to keep the correctness of data, the thesis studies the restore method for ruin data.
