Research On Faults Analysis And Diagnosis Of Rotor Support System Of Steam Turbine Unit

With the rapid development of electric power industry, more and more ultra supercritical steam turbine generators are put into operation. Improving the reliability of steam turbine generator set and reducing the maintenance cost are the goals of the electric enterprises. Failures of steam turbine unit seriously affect the safety, or even bring calamities and heavy losses in severe cases, therefore, in order to keep safety and stable operation of the electric power plant, enhancing the condition monitoring and fault diagnosis of steam turbine unit is really significant.The rotor support system is one of the important parts of steam turbine generator, the safety and stable operation of the system is the basis to keep the steam turbine unit running normally. Previous studies about faults of the steam turbine unit are mostlypaid attention on the key parts, such as, rotor and generator. With more ultra supercritical steam turbine set putting into operation, as a complex and broader system, rotor support system will play an more important role and will be paid more attention.The main works of this paper are as following:(1) Illustrate the structure and characteristics of the rotor support system of steam turbine unit, and analyze the monitoring parameters of the system and the quantitative description method of the parameters.(2) Make the detailed mechanism analysis on the main failure mode of rotor support system, the reasons of three kinds of faults are studied, then analyzed the faults and the consequences, established the analyzing of FMEA. Set up FTA for three kinds of faults, and make a quantitative analysis on the characteristics of each fault, complete the risk quantitative analysis and put forward the maintenance measures.(3) Research on the early warning and diagnosis on faults of rotor support system, put forward the early warning and diagnosis process and establish the mathematical model, set up the corresponding mathematical algorithm and simulation verification, complete the overall design of failure diagnosis system for early warning and diagnosis of faults on rotor support system.
