Monte Carlo method is appilied in numerical modeling of the flow in outlet strucyure of pressure tunnel in this paper. The difficulty of this problem is that the free surface of flow is not known, so this problem抯 calculating region is indefinitely. In this paper this problem is calculated by using Monte Carlo method with irregular random walking grids, and obtained the velocity and pressure distribution, through the compare between numerical result and model experiment result, there are some errors, so this paper reach the conclusion that the existence of negative pressure region in convex curve boundary (including broken line base slope) not only result from boundary layer separation, but also result from the centrifugal force caused by sinuous boundary, the numerical results are in agreement with the experimental data.In order to testify the reliability of Monte Carlo method, this paper calculated the same problem with Finite Element method, and compared with the Monte Carlo method)the result indicate the Monte Carlo method is flexible and simple and successful.
