Intake and exhaust well is a pressure diversion tunnel outlet gate, which has the function of air supply and exhaust. It plays an important role in improving the flow pattern and avoiding the accidents. Therefore, the exhaust wells in the construction period, whether the structure is safe? After a long run working, whether state is deteriorating, needed for safety monitoring instrument.The following research work is mainly carried out in this paper:In this paper, a numerical model is established to analyze the stress and strain theory by two kinds of unfavorable conditions in the construction period and operation period of the intake and exhaust well by using Abaqus, concrete backfill in construction period, under the action of lateral earth pressure, the stress concentration phenomenon in the 5-15m of the side wall of the gate of the intake and exhaust well, the exhaust water wells operating period, gate under the action of 1MPa water pressure, stress concentration phenomenon at the gate, the stress and strain on the side wall of the gate is small. According to the finite element model analysis results design and monitoring program, Due to the duration of the project, this paper mainly aimed at the construction period of the intake and exhaust wells to make safety monitoring program.According to the finite element model analysis results design and monitoring program, a total of two monitoring sections were set up in the intake and exhaust well, the monitoring sections 1 and 2 respectively. In the position of stress measurement of each monitoring section of the maximum value,1 monitoring sections are embedded in 2 monitoring points, monitoring section 2 buried with 5 monitoring points.
