Cylindrical orthogonal single-layer lattice shell structure with fringe truss is a new type structure. Using finite element method, this paper investigates the static behavior of cylindrical orthogonal single-layer lattice shell structures supported by fringe truss. In the numerical analysis, different support conditions, ratios of heig1~t to span, different spans are considered, and the comparisons with the lattice shell structure supported directly by arch beam are presented. Considering the geometrically nonlinear behavior of the structures, the nonlinear finite element theory is used to analyze the stability of the lattice shell structure. In the numerical analysis, the post-bucking equilibrium path of the structure is obtained. Based on the above analysis results and discussion some suggestions for the design of this type structure are presented, and the problems that need to be studied henceforth are discussed.
