With recent advance of industry, considerable attention has been paid to the investigation of the dynamic analysis and active noise control of flexible mechanisms in order to achieve high-speed and lightweight machines with accurate performances. A further research done on this subject was described in this paper. Firstly, a flexible beam in planar motion is discussed in this paper. Based on the calculation of surface normal velocity by Finite Element Method, the acoustic radiation of the beam is predicted. Using the acoustic radiation power integrating far-field noise spherical surface as our object function, we established the model for active noise control of flexible linkage mechanisms. All of the above provide theoretical basis for the acoustic radiation control of high-speed flexible beam. Secondly, I had advanced the concept of acoustic radiation influence coefficient and influence matrix, based on which, a set of noise control strategy is developed. A noise controller base on H~ control algorithms was also designed in this paper, which was simulated by the acoustic analyzing software named SysNoise, which proves that the controller is efficient. A multifunction testing bed is designed which is capable of carrying out the experimental research in mechanical dynamic analysis, passive and active vibration control, and even mechanical noise analysis and control. As a part of the testing bed, a direct current voltage amplifier which is used to drive the piezoelectric actuators is presented by using TL494 (PWM) IC. The amplifier, which has been emulated and debugged successfully, can supply an output voltage of +450V for an input analog ?V signal, the circuit and its principle of which are introduced. In addition, the design detail of the data acquisition trigger circuit is designed and developed.
