In this paper, a slagging and fouling monitoring system is put forward, which include two independent monitoring systems. One is based on Data Acquire System (DAS) in order to monitor the fouling degree in convective heat transfer surface and the slagging degree in whole boiler furnace, in which the sectional heat transfer model and heat balance model are set up, at same time, the artificial neural network is applied. The other monitors the slagging degree in local area of boiler furnace, in which new measure points are design. In the monitoring of local area of boiler furnace, two methods are put forward. One is the method of heat flux meter; the other is the method of heat pressure in back of boiler water-wall. In the paper, the two methods are compared. In the last, the paper discusses the problem about the integration of the whole system and the problem of blowing optimizes.
