Diesel is an internal-combustion engine of quite broad application. For a long time, the emphases of diesel investigation were performance intensify. Recently, it has been turned to emission control. On the base of experimentations of performance optimize and emission control for YC4110ZQ D.I. diesel, this thesis has given an analysis to its result and has summarized influences of several factors to diesel's performance and emission.Performance optimize experimentations have selected three combustion chamber configurations three induction swirl ratios. three fuel delivery advances and two induction ways (turbo charging with inter-cooling and turbo charging without inter-cooling). Emission experimentations have selected two induction ways (turbo charging with inter-cooling and turbo charging without inteiacooling). The result has indicated that the properly selection of combustion chamber configuration, induction swirl ratioand fuel delivery advance can enhance diesel's performance. Fuel delivery advances had opposite influences to NOx and PT emission. we should select fuel delivery advance reasonable to reduce NOx and PT emission. The result has also indicated that inter-cooling was an effective way to enhance performance and reduce emission. After inter-cooling the maximum power output has raised 11.67 percents; specific fuel consumption has reduced 5.76 percents; maximum torque has raised 19 percents. In the emission control experimentation, the per quality of NOx% PT- HC and CO emissions have reduced 9 percents,8 percents,7 percents and 20 percents separately.
