In this paper, the thermal performance calculation methods in W Flame Boiler furnace is studied, the boiler is designed by the American FW Company and belongs to the Yanguan Second Power Station 300MW unit. The paper is divided into two steps: first, the thermal performance calculation is carried out according to the American design data and the Soviet 1973 ((The standard methods of the boiler thermal performance calculation )~ with Dybsokilokh?s correction, the flame center height AX is calculated by trial method ,which makes it realizable to carry on the thermal performance calculation in Vt flame boiler . Second, six sets of datum are collected from the Yanguan Power Station, with the heat balance relation and the accurate measure fume temperature, all the heat face gas temperatures up to the furnace exit gas temperature are reversely calculated. The actual flame center height AX is calculated with the same method and compared withthe design data. So the study of the V1 flame boiler possesses a base.
