This paper presents a complete description to the operational actuality of voltage transformer of electric power distribution networks, and emphatically analyses the ferro-resonance and the gravely endangerment of the single-phase grounding of electric power distribution networks on the voltage transformer. Through analysis the mechanism and existent problems of some anti- resonance measures inside and outside country, it considered a new and effectual path to reform the structure of voltage transformer and devise a new style voltage transformer.
