Electromagnetic voltage transformer is a common voltage transformers in low-voltagedistribution network, especially in the10kV distribution network, often burnedelectromagnetic voltage transformer phenomenon, its reason is because of the iron coretransformer is saturated, caused by ferromagnetic resonance, resulting in voltage transformerinternal overvoltage, over current. This will be a serious threat to the safe operation of powersystem. This is particularly important for the further study of this phenomenon.In this paper, from the most basic cause of ferromagnetic resonance of the high frequency,respectively, frequency, frequency resonance phenomena and characteristics, summarizes thenecessary condition for the occurrence of ferromagnetic resonance. On the basis of this theoryis established by the EMTP-ATP simulation model of10kVPT. The preparation of aMATLAB program, the PT voltage, current, power loss value with the volt amperecharacteristic point piecewise linearization method into the nonlinear inductance Weicharacteristic, nonlinear resistors.Analysis of system capacitance to earth, excitation, excitation characteristic, three-phasesymmetry of ferromagnetic resonance effects simulation model using the. Establishment ofPT primary winding neutral point grounding resistance, simulation model of nonlinearresistance, then fourth harmonic elimination PT linear, and validate the respective harmoniccancellation effect. And some suggestions are given in the model selection of fourth PT. Inthis paper, the simulation in different circumstances over voltage, over current, resonantcondition by listed multiple tables, the hope can give PT type selection, parameterconfiguration, to provide some reference and harmonic elimination.
