Retaining Wall Expert System And Optimum Design Method Research

Retaining structure design and construction is one of oldest problems in geotechnical engineering.Owing to the limitation of retaining wall computing theory and structure design theory,retaining wall design depends on geotechnical engineer抯 experiences greatly.With Artifical Intelligence and Optimum Algorithm widely used in engineering field,it will be important to explore some jobs concerned about those two fields. In this paper,the soil press design theory of retaining structure is deep discussed and the expert system model has been established. On the basis of nonlinear constraints discrete and successive variable optimum methods,the optimum method of gravity retaining wall design has been founded and the relevant software has been developed.
