The analysis of weaving sections is one of the most important task in traffic research. For long time, there is much inefficiency in the research project because of the complexity relation between vehicles in the weaving sections. Currently, microscopic simulation model is being recognized as a special technique on weaving area research. So it is very important and significant to construct a simulation model which describes traffic flow characteristics in China accurately for weaving sections. This paper presents the history and up-to-date fruits of microcosmic simulation models. Based on a lot of field data collected in weaving sections, the weaving behavior is analyzed thoroughly. Then the car-following model and lane-changing model in the weaving sections are established. In the car-following model, the GM is adopted for its practicability in actual traffic conditions. In the lane-changing model, random utility function was brought out based on the discretionary lane-changing motivation. And then combined with the mandatory lane-changing model, an integrated lane-changing model is established in the weaving sections. Further more, a computer program is development and some essential calibration and validation has been taken, the result is quite well.
