The fastpeed development of information technology and computer science lead to ceaseless changes in the field of manufacturing. A series of advanced manufacturing technology were produced when they were combined with conventional technologies. With the application of virtual reality technology in manufacturing, virtual manufacturing(VM) was come into bing. VM was a comprehensive system technology which was composed of multiple subjects. The main technology of VM was simulation, modeling and optimizing. VM is a kind of philosophy and method that was applied to develop new product and manufacturing system; It is the inevitable consequences of the development trend of modern scientific technology and manufacturing technology; It is also the inescapable trend of various modern manufacturing techniques and system development. It has been proved that VM is one of the effective methods for designing new products.The performance analysis of virtual production is proposed in this paper after the meaning, the theory system and the main technology of VM were introduced and the frame structure of virtual manufacturing system and virtual enterprise were established which was based on the comprehensive integration of enterprise. The primary performance analysis of virtual product was carried out by using of comprehensive performance tree, then the performance analysis system of virtual product was established. Fuzzy synthesis judgement was used to analyse and evaluate the performance of virtual product. It makes the final purpose of VM was actualized.
