This paper is aimed to the problem , that high-speed marine main diesel engines can not provide their maximum horse-power in hot summer. Base on refferring relatively technical materials and applying with real operating conditions , the author has an all round and further study in theory and practice of high-speed marine main diesel engines running in high-temperature surroundings with full-load operation. After the basic theoretical design and test, a set of water-spray devices with reasonable and simple configuration has been developed, the spray heads have been installed in the shell of gas turbo-compressor of exhaust-gas turbo-charger. With the aid of cycle simulation and experiment, it indicates that turbine can match well with diesel although these water-spray units are fitted and temperature of exhaust gas drops down about 50 or so, meanwhile the power out put of diesel increases greatly. It proves also that it is successful and valuable to add water-spray units to turbocharger, then probe into that with these units gas emission expect to be decreased, but may lead other bad result and researched further is suggested.
