According to Chinese energy policy, coal is the primary energy source of China, which won't change for a long time. Low combustion efficiency and serious pollution problems come with the behindhand facilities and technology of coal combustion. Combined cycle is an advanced technology for clean and highly efficient utilization of coal. In allusion of the situation of China, this thesis puts forward Partial Gasification Combined Cycle whose primary research has been done.After a brief introduction of the utilization of combined cycle generation technology , a review of types, current research and development of combined cycle generation technology were given first. The development, technical features, projects and research organizations of IGCC and PFBC-CC are mainly introduced. At the same time, coal combustion combined cycle technologies and the program, features and current research of steam-electric-gas in China are also introduced.In order to develop combined cycle generation technology answering for the situation of our country, Institute for Thermal Power Engineering in Zhejiang University has designed and built a mulit-product cogeneration test using combined coal gasification and combustion. In this thesis, the program and main designing parameters of the test are introduced. And the experimentation has been done. It's primary results were given, such as temperature and pressure curve for the combustor and gasifier.It is difficult for our country to develop IGCC or PFBC-CC because of technology and fund. Coal partial gasification combined cycle generation is a kind of technology combined coal gasification and fluidized-bed combustion, which is fit for the situation of our country. Three schemes for this technology were given, including air-blown gasification, recycle gas-blown gasification and steam& recycle gas-blown gasification, which were computed and analyzed. Due to different conversion ratio of coal and different temperature that gas enters into gas turbine, the different results were got and analyzed , such as gas heat value, gasification efficiency and generation efficiency. And different gasification schemes were put forward for different industrial application. The information is essential to the design and operation of industrial facility.
