Study On The Principle Of The Faulted Line Selection In An Auto-compensating Network

The paper put forward new method for single-phase earth faulted line selection in a compensation network. They are separately based on active power,variety of residual current and wavelet. Various numerical simulations with Electromagnetic Transients Analysis Program (EMTP) were made and the results were analysed. Meanwhile the paper bring forward the new method to discriminate single-phase earth fault and so called "false earth". Then the idea of integral control of automatic resonance and single-phase earth faulted line selection was put forward.
