Research For Abstraction Of The Information Of The Spilled Oil On Satellite Image

The spilled oil is the one of the commonest pollution on sea. The cause of pollution often thanks to accident, such as colliding, sinking of the ship, leaking of the oil field on sea and the underwater piping and so on. The satellite remote sensing can monitor oil-pollution timely, precisely, comprehensively, so that we may take in the sound methods to avoid happening of the pollution and guard environment of the ocean. The feature of oil's spectrum is our basic work, and we will utilize the computer to process the information. At last, we hope that the satellite remote sensing can become a kind of practical technology in the field of the monitoring the spilled oil on sea.The satellite remote sensing application laboratory of the DMU took exactly two experiencement of the oil spectral feature on the outside of Dalian Bay in 1999 and 2000, because this the principal part of our project. On the basis of previous research. I will indicate two methods: The first one is synthesis. After processing each channel data, I make up them that include plenty of information of the spilled oil. This method is older than others, but its result is satisfying. However, this is not the emphasis of my papers. My method, the second one, is feature window of the curve. Because each oil has it's feature curve about reflective spectrum. If we can take sound window, we should utility it to process remote sensing image as so to discern information of the spilled oil.As for the cgmplexion of the spilled oil on sea, there are many difficulties by satellite remote sensing to monitor spilled oil. However, by a lot of material of AVHRR and TM, I have summed up and use the method.
