Research On Intelligent Monitoring And Alarming System In Marine Engine Room

The alarming and monitoring system in the marine engine room is the most important equipment in the modern structures of automation engine room. But so far, such equipment can only make the execution of alarming on the malfunctions in the working state of the equipment concerned, and as for the cause of the malfunctions, engineers are still required to judge and analyze. With the development of science and technology, especially the rapid development of information technology, intelligent diagnosis is realized on malfunctions of engine room, which has become the new research subject and development direction on automation of engine room, and which is also the subject to be studied and explored in this thesis.In the first part of the paper, general principles of computer data collection system is explicitly introduced, the ways of enhancing measuring precision on system which include the confirmation of time sampling, the choice of A/D converter and automatic control of measurement range are studied. With the way of software filtering , random errors are eliminated; with the ways of software and hardware, the problems of checking the non-linear state on channels and zero drift.On the basis of the present system, a type of intelligence monitoring and alarming system on engine room of a ship, which is of the function of expert intelligence diagnosis, is designed. The system consists of three key technologies: intelligence gage, information integration and expert intelligence. The principle and way of malfunction early-warning with the technology of neutral network which consist of forward multilayer neutral networks; the realization of BP algorithm with the assistance of computer and the construction of knowledge library on the system of neutral network expert, are emphatically discussed in the field of intelligence diagnosis on malfunction. And the realization ways are introduced with the examples of malfunction diagnosis of currently occurring on engine principal axis. These diagnosis ways based on knowledgetreatment greatly exert the characteristic of the knowledge on malfunctions of enginesaccumulated by the experts in the field (i.e. engineers on ship), and great storage and fast speed of computer. Thus, intelligent diagnosis on malfunctions are realized, and great leap has been made on the intelligence system compared with the present congeneric systems.With an overview of many related materials, the principal problem of intelligence monitoring alarming system on ship engine room is studied and explored on the basis of the present development situation of ship automation. And the new development in the field is applied to this system so as to enhance the reliability and intelligentizedness of the system. However, owing to my own ability and situation, this is just a preliminary study on the topic, and there is much left to be improved in further researches if the intelligence system is applied in practice.
