chiller plant of the current intelligent building operate inefficiently, and there being large margin in controlling levels between the practical application and theories research, it is high time to point out that chiller plant has much potential of saving energy, to improve the practical controlling level of Chinese chiller plant based on the actual engineering applied.The study of this thesis is based on the building automation system production of American ALC Corporation - WebCTRL, the experimental set was founded with the software and hardware of ALC Corporation. Though completing the whole process from system designing, assembling to installation, I analyze WebCTRL system, the development situation of building automation system and the innovation affected on HVAC controlling.This thesis mainly studies the applied control program of chiller plant. Through analyzing the control requirement of single-circuit chilled-water system, primary/secondly chilled-water system ,and cooling water system, I conclude the regular controlling algorithm, analyze the saving energy ways of chiller plant , and introduce the new controlling theory of cooling on demand, introduce the new concept of energy management, I put forward practical controlling programs on EDCON , all the programs have passed computer simulations and experimental simulations.In an actual project construction, I accomplished the entire process of building automation system from project design, drawing design to program design, according to the present research achievement and leap from the theory to the reality.The study of this thesis supplied a set of basic controlling and saving energy program, which have much reference value on practical engineering, and have actual significance to improving the efficiency of chiller plant, Saving energy cost.
