With the rapid development of social economy, the central air-conditioning system has been applied widely in our daily life, and the research of energy saving operation in air-conditioning system has become a hotspot in the field of building energy saving. In the central air-conditioning system, energy consumption of water system accounts for about 60% to 80% of the total energy consumption, therefore energy saving optimization and research on water system are an important part of the air conditioning system.Air conditioning water system include chilled water system and cooling water system. The variable flow control on energy saving research of chilled water system at present has been relatively mature,however there is a coupling relationship among the cooling water pump, cooling tower fan and chiller in the cooling water system,therefore we can through the running status of equipment to determine the best operational states. But most of the cooling water system research is based on the many experiments,less abstract to the highly theoretical research.This paper combine with an experimental platform of the variable air conditioning system in Xi’an University of architecture and technology,put forward based on establishing the energy consumption model of chiller in optimizing and research control system of central air-conditioning systems.This method is under the condition of stable operation in the air-conditioning system, by establishing the mathematical energy consumption model of a chiller and the cooling tower fan under load rate to find the optimal operating point of the cooling water system, and the accuracy of the model is verified by experiment. Solved the cooling water system in different working conditions needed to be after many experiments to determine the optimal point, this method is simple and accurate on the implementation.In order to achieve the research result, this paper established the secondary pump pressure difference of chilled water system, the supply air temperature control model and the water temperature of cooling tower in cooling water system control model, and design the incremental PID controller and single neuron adaptive PID controller, in order to achieve good control effect. In addition, in this paper, the application of the method in establishing the energy consumption model of chiller in the actual system of GLPI-Park, and according to the operation condition of air-conditioning system in GLPI-Park to find the best point of cooling tower stations switch in order to reducing the system energy consumption.
