In this paper, the vehicle semi-active suspension is studied. Adaptive control of vehicle suspensions is one of the most important subjects in today's field of vehicle dynamics. The ride performance of a vehicle is related to the variance of suspension's parameters. Therefore, the control of suspension's damping coefficient draws people's attention.The theoretical researches and practical applications of adaptive suspension home and abroad are reviewed. The main content of this paper is to find coefficients of a suspension according to the theoretical research. On base of these works, a controlling experiment on mixed-power tractor suspension model is made the result of the experiment that it can work in tractor. We wish synthetically performance, which were improved by using the control system.
