The suspension device in the track armored vehicle connect the load wheel and the body flexibly,and use the elastic elements in the suspension to absorb or relieve the impact on the body,which produced by rugged road,so it can reduce the body vibration and ensure that the vehicle riding comfort and operational stability.The tracked armored vehicle often uses the torsion bar suspension as its suspension.But the simplified model of the torsion bar suspension is equaled to the model of spring oscillator,it is difficult to achieve steady state when it vibrates by load,so the torsion bar suspension can not meet the requirements of the vehicle riding comfort and operational stability.Firstly,the study takes the torsion bar suspension as the object of the research.And then,simplifies and optimizes the model of the torsion bar suspension,which based on the working principle of the torsion bar suspension.MATLAB/Simulink system simulation software and ANSYS Workbench finite element software are used to verify the performance of the torsion bar suspension which had been optimized.The main contents includes the following sections:(1)The study describes the commonly used suspension devices for tracked armored vehicles,and introduces the structural components and working principle of these suspension devices.And then,analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the torsion bar suspension and pneumatic suspension.(2)A new torsion bar suspension device which has a damper and a semi-active suspension which has a adjustable damping are designed.The two new suspension are designed based on the advantages of torsion bar suspension and pneumatic suspension.According to the different force body and suspension received,a simplified model can be build.And then,establish three different dynamic model of single wheel,and threedifferent dynamic model of half vehicle.(3)According to the differential equation of the suspension system,establish three different simulation suspension model of single wheel,and three different simulation suspension model of half vehicle by MATLAB/Simulink,and analyses the result of simulation.At the same time,this paper establish the road excitation model by filter white noise simulation method.The simulation results show that the semi-active suspension has the best damping performance of the thress different suspension model.(4)At last,this paper calculates the fatigue life of torsion bar spring in three different suspension systems by ANSYS Workbench finite element analysis software.According to the simulation results of the suspension system,use the maximum torque which torsion bar spring bear as the load of the fatigue life analysis,then analyze the different impact of the fatigue life on the torsion bar spring.The simulation results show that the semi-active suspension has the longest fatigue life of the thress different suspension model.
