Study On Seismic And Economical Property Of RC Multistory Residence Structures

RC structure,in which the most often seen forms are rectangle frame,special-shape column frame and short-leg shear wall structure (the ratio of leg length and width is 5-8),is widely used in multistory residence. The design of special-shaped column and short-leg shear wall structure is comparatively complicated. The research of seismic property is not mature. Meanwhile,comparison and analysis of the economical indexes of the above three structure are not enough,which gives a bad influence on people's cognition of the seismic and economical property of residence structure and is not good to people's hold of the application of residence. Thus,it is necessary to do researches on the seismic and economical property of RC structure system of multistory residence.After studying a lot of research papers on special-shaped column and short-leg shear wall structure,I select a typical short-leg shear wall residence structure in Hefei. Rectangle frame,special-shaped column and short-leg shear wall structure are designed respectively by use of PKPM software according to the present design code. Nonlinear time-history analysis on the three structures is carried out and computation results are analyzed in detail and the seismic property of these structures is evaluated. The cost of the three structures and corresponding brick masonry structure is given. The evaluation of the overall property and the application range of the above residence structures are also given and some advice is put forward. The analysis results of this paper can give valuable reference to owner and designs.
