Since rib-hoisting of the long-span CFST arch bridge is very complex, method of simulation calculation of construction control must be adopted in order that the final bridge line and the state of strength will satisfy the requirement of design.In this paper, basted on the sum-up and investigation of simulation calculation of long-span bridge construction in nation and international, the detailed approach of imitated calculation of long-span CFST arch bridge is given out, and the reason why the general backward analysis is not suitable for the application of the rib-hoisting of CFST arch bridge is analyzed. And an applied method for forward analysis based on iterative theory is put forward.According to the forward analysis method based on iterative theory, the simulation calculation procedure of rib-hoisting on the long-span CFST arch bridge is worked out. In this procedure, the finite element theory and the formation of flexible cable unit is analyzed detailed. And according to the adjustment of cable free length in the rib-hoisting, a method of adopting changeable initial length unit that is applied to imitate adjust cable is presented, and its feasibility is verified with practice.When the simulation calculation procedure is applied to the rib-hoisting process of NanNiDu arch bridge, simplification model suited to the case is established, the pre-rising elevation on the rib-hoisting course is predicted, and real-time control is discussed. It is verified with practice that the presented simulation calculation procedure based on the method has good applicative values.
