Development Of An Integrated VQC System For Substation Based On Industrial PC

With the development of substation automation and power system automation, especially the progress of voltage and reactive power centralized control in large-scale power system, the controllers of voltage and reactive power (VQC) for substation based on SCM(single chip microcomputer) will not been adapted. This paper presents a new VQC application based on industrial PC. The techniques of a general electrical connection drawing system, flexible setup of input and output and automatic identification of substation running mode are also studied. It has been demonstrated that the new IPC-VQC system has preferable generalization and extension.
