The performance of train longitudinal dynamics has important effect on quality and safety of train running. This paper is aimed at train longitudinal dynamics problems. Based on model that had been built,we develop an integrated model of train longitudinal dynamics,and realize it in MATLAB/SIMULINK software. At last we program an integrated program of train longitudinal dynamics. This program is easy to use and convenient to operate. Its calculation parameter can be modified easily. By compared this program calculated results with experiment and theory analyzing results at condition of train starting,braking,emergency braking and releasing,calculated results of this program is verified. This program can be used in railway transport department to improve transport efficiency and ensure safety of train running,also used in railway research department to optimize the performance parameter of part and system that related with train longitudinal dynamics.This paper uses the program to calculate the dynamics performance of small slack coupler that designed by QIQIHA'ER VEHICLE (GROUNP) COMPANY. By compared maximum coupler force and maximum acceleration of car body with common slack coupler at condition of train starting,braking,emergency braking and releasing,we verified that small slack coupler is better than common slack coupler in dynamics performance.This paper also calculated the train dynamics performance parameter with different buffer and braking system,running in different line and using different operating method. We give the effect result of different buffer in train longitudinal dynamics,and analyze the advantage and disadvantage of using different brake value and brake shoes. We also give the effect results of running in different line and using different operating method in train longitudinal dynamics performance. It can be made use of by railway different department.
