Roadheader is a part profile tunnel boring machine which can excavate,convey rock blocks and walk by itself. It is very suitable to excavate soft-rock tunnel. Centered with roadheader and equiped with other equipments,a construction mode of railway soft-rock tunnel may be set up. As a part of scientific research project of "Construction Technique and Application of Railway Soft-rock Tunnel Roadheader",the main frame of the roadheader was systematically researched in the dissertation. The following are the main contents:(l)Be seasoned with the construction technique and specialties of railway soft-rock tunnel,the general project of JSBZ132 roadheader is put forward. The main fram is designed. Every mechanism' s location and how to joint them are analysised.(2) By analysis of the working principium and process of the roadheader,the cutter' s driving forces are investigation.(3) The working characteristics of the working mechanism are analysised.(4) By imitation of six typical construction cases of the roadheader,the main frame' s driving forces are analysised. The calculating formulaes of the forces are reached.(5)The finite element analysis software(ANSYS) is applied to the analysis of the main frame. Six typical construction cases of the roadheader are imitated . The finite elements model are set up. The restrictions and loads are applied to the model of the main frame. The stress and deformation of each node are reached. The most danger place is discovered. The advices to improve the components structure are given on the basis of deform and stress distribution.(6)The modal analysis of the main frame is carried out.The method of centralized mass is made use of. The preceding five steps modal frequencies and the corresponding vibration modals of the main frame are calculated.By means of the comparison basic frequency with the other vilration sources and the analysis of each other step vibration modes,the structure is proved to be safeThis dissertation studied the important mechanism of theroadheader. The useful results are obtained through studying mechanical analysis for the main frame. The analysis include finite element analysis and engineering calculation . A series of theoretic criterions and calculate method to the detailed design of the main frame are given by finite element analysis.
