Since the industrial frequency transformer fulfills the boosting voltage part, most of the inverters have such drawbacks as larger size, more weight and bigger AC noise. With the development of power electronics technology and devices in recent years, instead of using the industrial frequency transformer to boost voltage, DC/DC high frequency converter achieves the function. The system has higher power density and conversion efficiency, and the size, weight, AC noise of which has been greatly reduced.First a combined converter is presented in the paper. Based on the analysis and comparison of the peak current-injection mode and average current mode control strategies, the method of designing average current control mode PI regulator is obtained. The digital simulation of the converter has been done with the help of MATLAB software. The good transient and stable character of the converter is attained while rated load. The automatic clamping current and protecting power transistor character of the converter is revealed under the condition of overload. Based on the analysis of simulation, the main and control circuit of the converter has been designed. According to the principle of phase shift control, AC output of the inverter is the quasi-square wave. The whole equipment can give a voice or light alarm under such failure conditions as not enough voltage, overload or short circuit etc. The model equipment testifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and high ratio of performance and price decides the product will be accepted easily.
