With the development of science and technology and incessant exploring outer space,the deployable structures are being used widely Masts are basic deployable structures,being a effective supporting structures,masts are often used for separating electronic instruments to reduce interference or supporting other structures such as deployable antennas,solar arrays,telescope,outer space manipulator,outer space flat roof. Structural Design and Structure speciality analysis theory have been studied in this dissertation.firstly,the state and abroad research actuality of masts are summarized,and the nodes used in deployable structures are analysed,the developing tendency are discussed in this dissertation.The basic design theory and method are summarized,and primary technique requirements are illustrated,the design process are generalized. A design project of rod-cable deployable structures is put forward. The deployable mechanism of a modular is discussed particular. The detailed construct! on of nodes and bars are designed,and the deployable structures model is made accordingly.The deployable structures are different from other structures,and primary structures requirements are stiffness. The frequency of rod-cable deployable mast is analyzed,and various parameters' effect on structures frequency is analyzed,based on analysis results the design project is rectified. Frequency response analysis has been performed for the mast. According to Mechanics theory the formulary of flexural rigidity,axial rigidity,shearing rigidity are deduced.The framework membrane structures are widely used present. The nonlinear finiteelement method is used in this dissertation,after form-finding the shape are overlapped the framework structure,the shape and the framework structure make up integrality structure,The nonlinear finite element method is employed,due to deadweight and wind load and snow load and self-stressing the response of the framework membrane structures are analyzed,and computation results of integrality model and dividing model have been compared.At the end of this dissertation some conclusions are reached and the problems that should be studied further are put forward.
